Tartan Fascinator with Felted Dreads

This Tartan Fascinator with Dreads would uniquely complete a mother of the bride's outfit or grace the head of a Kentucky Derby attendee.

COLOR

It is a bright and colorful hat, with geometric blue and green pattern on a red background. To the left side, there are five felted dreads which gently move when the wearer turns her head. It is a rather kinetic hat!

The hat is entirely made by hand, including the vibrant felt which I hand felted from soft Merino roving.

The hat affixes to the head with two tiny, metal wig combs and/or blue millinery elastic. You can use both if you like. Or tuck the millinery elastic into the hat if it's not needed. 

SIZE
The hat is approximately 8 inches / 20 cm across. The longest dread measures 9 inches / 23 cm from the bottom of the hat. It is lightweight and easy to wear at 1.8 ounces / 50 grams.

CARE
The hat can take a sprinkle of rain, but I would not recommend washing it. Spot clean with a cloth, if needed.
