Open Studio & Make a Felted Stone - August Craft Month 2023

For this year's August Craft Month, I will again be hosting an Open Studio where visitors can see how and where felted hats are made. In addition, visitors can make their own Felted Stone out of Irish-raised, Jacob wool.

Discover the enchanting world of feltmaking at the Open Studio of Juliane Gorman, the visionary feltmaker behind FeltHappiness. Step into her Art-Shed, a tiny haven where fluffy wool fibres come alive, and witness the captivating transformation of ordinary material into extraordinary, stylish, and water-resistant hats.

With the addition of soapy water and gentle massage, Juliane weaves her magic, crafting playful and fashionable hats that are as functional as they are beautiful. Immerse yourself in the creative process as you observe her skilful hands at work, breathing life into wool fibres.
